Sealed bids will be received by the Alliance City Auditor, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, until 11:30 a.m. local time on Friday, March 24, 2023, for furnishing materials for various departments in the City of Alliance for the period of April 1, 2023, through June 30, 2023. At 12:00 noon on March 24, 2023, the bids will be opened and publicly read at the City Administration Building, 2nd floor Conference Room, 504 East Main Street for:
Caustic Soda, Liquid
Bulk Powdered Activated Carbon
Bagged Powdered Activated Carbon
Specifications for the various materials and proposal forms are available at the Office of the Director of Public Safety & Service, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, by calling 330-821-3110, by calling individual City departments or related to this legal notice posting.
Each bid must be made on the form provided and must contain the names and addresses and e-mails of all parties interested. As a security, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), made payable to the City of Alliance will be required.
Sealed Envelopes containing such bids must be plainly marked as follows:
- "2nd Quarter Chemical Bid"
- Name of the supply being bid
- Name and address of the company you represent.
The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City.
