2016 Community Needs Assessment Survey

  1. The City of Alliance Department of Planning and Development is conducting a study of citizens and local organizations and age ncies to identify community needs and priorities for the expenditure of federal funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The survey results will be one tool used to implement Alliance’s Five - Year Consolidated plan. The Consolidated Plan is a strategic document that prioritizes the expenditure of HUD funds. Alliance receives approximately $564,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Funds and will use these funds to carry out programs to assist low and moderate income persons, including the homeless, and to aid in the prevention or elimination of slums and blight.
